Senior Program Manager, Leadership, Learning and Development
Job location: This position is to be hired in Canada and will be remote unless you live in the Ottawa area in which the role will be hybrid with a minimum of working in the office 2 to 3 days a week.
This is a 12 month term position. Preference will be given to those who are willing to work within a Central or Eastern Standard time zone.
About The Team
The Senior Program Manager, Leadership, Learning and Development is responsible for leading the identification, development and implementation of scalable solutions to achieve learning and development objectives that align with and support business needs. The incumbent collaborates with all areas of HR and key stakeholders to assess and forecast needs, plan and deploy leadership, learning and development programs enabling capability growth and professional development as part of delivering the employment value proposition and human capital strategy. Key projects for this 12 month term role include program design, creation, and delivery of: New Manager Orientation, leader enablement for performance management, Manager Development program aligned to competencies and other initiatives as needed.
What you will do
  • Act as a subject matter expert on talent development strategies, solutions and best practices
  • Manage and optimize existing SuccessFactors Talent modules, through design, reporting, data analytics and insights to enhance decision-making
  • Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of scalable, global leadership, learning and development programs and practices
  • Research external leadership and talent development leading practices and recommend new, innovative approaches and enhance existing programs as required.
  • Ensure all talent development programs and initiatives support and align with the Kinaxis culture and DEI strategy and support growth and career development for top talent
  • Ensure change management and communications plans are in place to support change to, or implementation of new programs/initiatives to promote company-wide adoption
  • Develop the infrastructure for learning and development programs by establishing consistent methods, tools and templates for assessment, design, development, implementation, evaluation and reporting across a range of delivery platforms
  • Influence the selection of learning and development service providers and manage vendor relations
What we are looking for
  • Experience implementing performance and/or career planning modules in SuccessFactors or another enterprise platform
  • 5-7 years of experience in developing and designing leadership, learning and development programs, supporting organizational development, or a similar program area
  • Demonstrated expertise with e-learning and content development tools such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, or like programs and ability to build effective training content and supporting learning objects
  • Experience effectively analyzing talent data to develop valuable organizational and people insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing change
  • Direct experience in the design or delivery of leadership, talent development, or career development programs that align with and support delivery of an organization’s Employment Value Proposition
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills and the ability to prioritize business requirements appropriately through a collaborative partnership approach
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • University degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development or a related field, with in-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, training methodologies, instructional design, and leading practices for a global, hybrid organization; diploma in Adult Education is a strong asset
