Position: Senior Production Technologist

Education:

Degree Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

15+ years of relevant experience in Upstream Oil & Gas industry.

Role Purpose

implementation of fit-for purpose Production Technology - Production Enhancement solutions and provide technical support / advice as the Technical Authority or Subject Matter Expert in the area of specialization to leverage new methodology and technology, identify best practices from within as well as Industry and evaluate / drive their application in work processes / guidelines / technical standards integrating them with other disciplines, and direct the capability development efforts to create a pool of technically competent professionals in respective discipline / technology to achieve technical / operational excellence

Main Accountabilities

Initiate and drive development of technology strategy, roadmap and tracking its implementation Proactively identify and evaluate technical requirements and value creation opportunities in the area of specialization. Drive and deploy the technical aspects in the area of specialization with respect to project and improvement initiatives Provide leadership in introducing, monitoring and standardizing technical implementation of operational/ engineering improvement initiatives/ best practices and capturing lesson learnt. Provide technical assurance, guidance and advise in the area of specialization for trouble shooting, problem diagnostics, technical audits & benchmarking, project risk assessment Provide technical solutions on Base, Key and Pacing technologies for specific issues / potential problems.
