Production Technologist Technician Jobs

Two-year Diploma in Electronic, Computer and Electrical Technology or equivalent experience/training

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with National Instruments LabView and TestStand would be an asset.

Troubleshoot and repair failed products

Share feedback on defect information with Production Assemblers in a timely manner

Help set up test work stations for production assemblers as outlined in the test procedures

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Review daily production and compile weekly production reports.

Assist Operations with day-to-day production/infrastructure issues and troubleshooting.

Provide input into the evaluation of potential growth and development opportunities.Work with the asset team to develop growth strategies.

Provide input into the forecast of production performance to predict revenues, identify problems and plan work programs.

A post-secondary education in Chemistry, Chemistry Technology, Radiopharmaceutical, Biotechnology or a related field

Previous experience in a similar role within GMP and pharmaceutical grade clean rooms, medical isotopes, is a definite asset

College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology AND a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience

Must be proficient with office software (Excel, Word) and experience with AutoCAD and gINT is an asset

Strong people skills and ability to work with the wide variety of staff and clients

A valid Canadian driver's license and access to vehicle is a requirement (mileage allowance will be provided)

Your responsibilities may include construction supervision and project inspection in order to confirm project specifications are being met.

Training including CNSC and CCIL soils / concrete will be provided along with WHIMIS and First Aid.

1 year of experience as Production Technologist, Electronics technician, or related for high-tech industries.

Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic boards and assemblies including analog circuits

5+ Years experience in manufacturing

Experience with Fusion 360 & 5-Axis Router Programming

Experience with 3D modelling specifically for 3D printing

Diploma or Technical certification in Trades or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of earned value management systems (EVMS) and ability to apply the principles in monitoring, reporting and controlling stages.

Knowledge of supply chain management principles including procurement, logistics and inventory management.

Time management skills and ability to work on several issues simultaneously.

Works with production and area management to sequence and prioritize manufacturing, assembly and installation activities.

Ability to apply inventory and material management standard principles.

Excellent English verbal & written communication skills

Experience with evolving production processes, improvements and implementations

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

3-5 years’ experience in small batch electronics and equipment manufacturing
