The technology involves processing multiple types of mineral feed at low temperatures to achieve activation and successful partial replacement of cement in a concrete mix without sacrificing its early strength.

: Lab Technologist

EnviCore is actively seeking a skilled and adept Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Lab Technologist at EnviCore, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our R&D through precise sample preparation, testing, lab maintenance, and operational tasks to manufacture SCMs from waste minerals.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and calibration of laboratory testing equipment.
• Uphold meticulous record-keeping practices while adhering to quality and safety protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all generated data, upholding the integrity and traceability of research findings.
• Conduct accurate sample preparation from raw rock materials, maintaining a strong focus on precision.
• Contribute proactively to lab support and preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal lab functionality.
• Validate and troubleshoot newly developed in-house analytical methods to enhance research reliability.
• Participate in basic quality control procedures and manage inventory.
• Perform routine inspections on lab equipment to determine maintenance needs.
• Cultivate a collaborative work atmosphere through seamless teamwork with colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in relevant computer software such as Microsoft Suite and Google Sheets for data collection and entry.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in mineral processing.
• Capability to lift and move up to 20 kgs of materials unassisted.
• Diploma or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Comfort working with mechanical equipment involving crushing and grinding.
