As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend), you’ll be part of a team of highly skilled web, business intelligence, infrastructure and data engineers who are proud to partner with some of the world’s leading retailers on challenging, cutting-edge, data-driven solutions, powered by technology, and people. While your core skill will be back-end and/or front-end development, you will be expected to contribute to all areas of the product by developing your skills in other technologies

Qualifications

• Preferable to have experience with CSS / Styled Components
• Preferable to have experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
• Self-motivated and able to define, plan and implement goals, tasks, and projects
• Extensive experience developing web applications using Java.
• Database experience including analytical SQL queries and OLAP databases
• At least 6 years of experience as a developer
• Beneficial to have experience with JOOQ
• Familiarity with creating Restful APIs and an understanding of microservices architecture
• Preferable to have experience using visualization libraries such as Highcharts, D3, etc.
• Be highly detail oriented and have strong business & product understanding.
• Experience in unit testing (unit and components)
• Experience with the Spring Framework
• Knowledge of Kubernetes & Docker
• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Some experience with frontend development, preferably React
