Backend Software Developer, Intermediate - Csi

The position will proactively work with customers and collaborate with internal teams to identify customer business needs, gather product requirements and design. Analyze solutions to ensure that they are interoperable, performant and maintainable. Implement the design and test components of the system. Develop a strategic customer plan, evaluate requirements and propose technical solutions at all stages of development.

Responsibilities:

• Integration and clustering solutions using Kafka or ActiveMQ.
• Research technologies for use in new and existing modules of the solution (e.g., Machine Learning frameworks, data storage and capture frameworks etc.)
• Ensure that relevant documentation and frameworks are up to date.
• Accountable for ensuring that all working hours are accurately reported on a daily or weekly basis.
• Help customers troubleshoot via heap-dumps, thread-dumps, and log analysis.
• Work closely with customers to uncover core customer business needs, gather product requirements and design, implement and test components of the system.
• Accountable for ensuring that all working hours are accurately reported in Netsuite on a daily or weekly basis, that the majority of (if not all) hours are tracked as billable and that the project management tool in Netsuite is properly and fully utilized.
• Analyze solutions to ensure that they are interoperable, performant and maintainable.
• Collaborate with key internal teams (e.g. coredev, product, solution architects, support, etc.) to develop a strategic customer plan, evaluate requirements and propose technical solutions at all stages of development.
• Contributing back to the open-source community.

Requirements:

• Experience in Python and JavaScript.
• Positive attitude and can work independently or in groups.
• 5+ years development experience and Java v11+.
• Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ or other MQ systems, MongoDb, and Docker.
• Preferred requirements:
• Great customer relationship skills including the ability to find out the customers requirements, underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches to meet timelines.
• Experience with cloud development (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Spring, REST, SQL, Git, etc.
• Experience with test practices, and building pipelines.
• Experience in solution design, and feature development.
• Healthcare system experience.
