Java Software Developer Jobs

Essentials:

• Experience as a Software Engineer / Developer delivering scalable and high throughput projects

• Experience in:

o Java / SpringBoot or similar technologies

o RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with Bitbucket/Git, JIRA and Confluence

• Ability to deconstruct requirements into sizeable work tasks

• Ability to communicate with non-technical members of the team

• Effective time and task management skills, including the ability to manage concurrent deliverables

• Self-motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently as well as within a team

• Creative problem-solving skills

• Readiness and motivation (as a Senior / Lead Developer) to address and resolve complex and multi-faceted development-related issues, often independently

• Ability to work autonomously in a lead capacity on a diverse range of activities (e.g. design, support of technical business solutions) and can be relied on to coach, educate and monitor work of others

• Commitment to and belief in the quality of your deliverables.

Must have:

- 7+ years of Java development

- 5+ years experience in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring JDBC

- 5+ years of experience in REST API design and Testing

- 3+ years experience with JMS, MQ, MS SQL, DB2

- 3+ years of Agile development / Business feature development experience

- Azure or cloud based deployment experience.

Nice to have:

- frontend development experience in Angular/React, etc.

- Junit testing / Mockito

- Tools: BitBucket (Git), Maven, Jenkins
