Our well-established client in East York has partnered with Kelly Services to recruit for a Sales Manager to join as a fulltime member of their team. The incumbent should be prepared to develop and grow sales for the Company products throughout Ontario, in Industrial and food service class of trade. The Sales Manager is considered to be the point of contact between customers and the Company for all the sales activities in his or her region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage annual sales forecasts, trade spend and budgeting.
- Attend trade shows where needed
- Maintain tracking tools (e.g., Forecasting, spending, promo participation form, trade, etc.).
- Provide customer insights into the product development process, including identification of new customer needs.
- Work with distributors and operators to grow foodservice sales
- Monthly update on market intelligence information and competitor analysis report
- Identify new account targets and develop an action plan with Director/President to track and secure new business.
- Inform management of competitive activities and market conditions
- Prepare monthly sales performance reviews to monitor performance and identity opportunities, gaps, and progress
- Develop the Company account business plans to drive sales growth
- Attend management meetings; align sales goals with other areas of the business.
- Set yearly sales and distribution targets
- Analyze and monitor sales quotations/opportunities to drive sales
- Ensure customer alignment with other regional sales managers
- Utilize various tactics including sales tools, customer lists, tradeshows, cold calls, to grow sales
- Grow and foster positive customer satisfaction with customers to grow sales within the region
- Develop customer support and after sales support strategies
