Job Description
This position has been created to help with the day-to-day operations


of the store. Our sales consultants are the welcoming faces that greet


customers and provide them with a superior buying experience. This


position is for an individual with a drive for sales and join our team


in providing excellence in customer service and support that we’re


known for. This person needs to be an excellent communicator who can


build relationships. Our team is the driving force behind new and


ongoing sales opportunities-directly impacting our growth and success.

Sales Consultant Responsibilities


 * Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers as they walk


through the door.


 * Providing excellent customer service by ensuring the customers are


a priority and answering any questions they have. Provide information


on our products to customers.


 * Answering incoming calls. Re-direct inquiries to the proper


person/department when needed.


 * Assist with inventory.


 * Keep a professional environment in the shop and on social media.


 * Work with staff to accomplish tasks as needed.


 * Help to maintain rental equipment.


 * Help load and unload shipments.


 * Maximizing sales opportunities to achieve store targets by using


suggestive selling and sharing product knowledge through cold calls.


This could take up to half of your time.


 * Some outside sales/ contractor support, if needed.


 * Prospecting for new companies in different industries we sell to.


 * Use CRM to maintain an up-to-date database of customers and


prospects.


 * Work and assist management on promotional campaigns as required.


 * Vacation/sick day coverage


 * Daily reporting to management of sales activities.


Sales Consultant Skills/Qualifications


 * Ability to build relationships with customers, co-workers, and


venders.


 * Mechanically inclined and have the ability to work in a fast-paced


environment.


 * Possess problem solving skills.


 * Must be team orientated.


 * Must have a sales-driven and goal-oriented attitude.


 * Highly driven with proven record for achieving results.


 * Superb written and verbal communication skills.


 * Basic Computer skills and the ability to use a point-of-sale


system.


 * Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.


 * Must have post-secondary education.


 * This position requires at least 2 years of sales and


retail/logistics experience.


 * Needs to understand computer software, POS knowledge, emails, and


social media.


 * Professional mannerism and well versed in the products sold. Must


be trustworthy and able to keep information confidential.


 * Can confidently operate a forklift, prefer that this position has a


forklift ticket.


 * This position demands someone who can prioritize and work in a


fast-paced environment.


 * Need to be able to consistently lift 50-60lbs.
