Job Description

As a Sales Consultant at Grow Women Leaders, you will be responsible for helping our customers succeed while achieving specific team and individual sales and profit goals set by the company. Your role will involve providing exceptional business-to-business (B2B) sales consultation, account management, customer service, and innovative solutions in the food and restaurant industry. Here are some of the key responsibilities:


Articulate and demonstrate the value proposition to engage and onboard new customers, utilizing consultative selling methods.


Develop and execute Strategic Account Plans, grow the account portfolio, and retain customer accounts to achieve profitable sales growth within your assigned territory.


Evaluate customer business needs and analyze market trends to develop customer-centric product and service solutions.


Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors offerings, sharing relevant information with customers as part of value-added services.


Utilize sales technology and business resources to provide end-to-end sales consultative services.


Manage credit and accounts receivables while overseeing pricing management and strategy for the territory.


Track activities and results, collaborate on opportunities, and champion the team selling process using Salesforce (Sysco’s CRM tool).


Be prepared to work non-traditional hours while providing a level of individual autonomy to support customer needs.


Comply with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures, ensuring food safety, quality, and legality requirements are met.


Play an integral role in safety by reporting hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately and speaking out when hazards are present.


Perform other duties as assigned.


RequirementsMinimum Of 2 Years Experience In Sales.


Reside in Banff/Canmore or surrounding areas due to required travel.


Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience; CPSA designation is preferred.


Proven ability to cultivate relationships and grow sales.


Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to plan and execute business plans effectively.


Demonstrated skills in consultative selling, networking, and negotiations.


Business and restaurant operations acumen to manage sophisticated customers.


Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and influence various key stakeholders.


Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost, and expense ratio.


Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal effectively and external teams.


Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.


Ability to learn and effectively use proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growth.


Ability to understand and manage compliance with contracts.


Solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports and deriving insights from data.


Proactive, self-directed, with the ability to structure a weekly schedule for success.


Proficiency in Microsoft Applications Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Valid driver’s license in good standing with access to a vehicle is required.
