TYPICAL DUTIES OF A Engineer AT SONOVISION

• Manipulation of CAD models using CAD image manipulation software.
• Investigate, respond, and implement corrective action to Production, supplier or field issues.
• Develop and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDP), prepare and present formal Design Reviews. Follow established procedures.
• Plan, organize, and maintain records of progression to ensure successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget.
• Support prototype builds, create test plans, execute tests and create test reports to validate designs, mitigate risks and/or troubleshoot problems.
• Develop plans and estimates for future projects (ROMS's, BOE's, project plans, informal estimates) in response to customer and contractual requirements.
• Mechanical design engineering of seating, fire extinguishing, hull attachments and stowage systems to meet customer requirements and specifications.

• Ability to work under pressure with professionalism and accuracy.
• A degree in Engineering or Industrial Design or experience as a technician.
• A strong specialization in Hulls adds would be a strong asset.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as XML, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.

The successful candidate must complete a background check, which will include previous employment reference checks, education verification, and a criminal history review.

This position requires a minimum of 10-years consecutive residency in Canada to attain a Secret Clearance. For this position, the successful candidate must also be able to meet all Controlled Goods Program requirements.
