IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE SELLING TO A HIGH END AND SAVVY CLIENTELE. WE ARE SEEKING A GRACIOUS INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL BRING ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM TO THE ROLE. YOU MUST HAVE AN OUTGOING PERSONALITY TO DO THIS JOB; YOU MUST BE CHARISMATIC WITH GREAT COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. YOU MUST BE PASSIONATE ABOUT SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

LOCATION - VAUGHAN (JUST NORTH OF TORONTO).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The scope of the Retail Salesperson's role is to greet and to develop a dialogue with the client and understand their needs.

You will ensure quality customer service by showing product and providing specifications and pricing in a professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position is most suitable for someone with a gracious personality who can bring energy, enthusiasm and knowledge to the role.

Ideally candidates will have several years (5+) of direct retail selling experience. High end fashion, furniture, and automotive are good backgrounds.

Appropriate presentation and personality are important, that is, being charismatic and elegant along with great communication and customer service skills.

If you are a retailer, medium to high end fashion, or jewelry are suitable.

If you are from the Furniture Industry, sales experience from retailers such as Hudson's Bay, Restoration Hardware, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, William-Sonoma, La-Z-Boy, Modern Sense, Martin Daniels Interiors and Ethan Allen are ideal. A background in other residential furniture stores will also be considered.

Due to the importance of customer interaction, excellent English language skills are required for this position.

Having a vehicle to drive to and from work is the preferable mode of transportation.

This is a full time position; per hour salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits. Salary will enable you to earn a very good income; no commission required to do well and no pressure.

Excellent working hours – Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM + Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. If you need one day off during the weekdays, this can be accommodated. However, due to traffic, a presence on Saturdays 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM is a must.

No evenings and no Sundays.
