Our Client and Employer is looking for a Retail Sales Supervisor for a kid clothing and goods store. Responsible for overseeing sales operations, managing staff, and promoting sustainable shopping. We're seeking an inside Canada applicant whose leadership will drive our team's success in providing exceptional customer experiences and contributing to our store's mission.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve challenges such as customer complaints and supply shortages to uphold service quality
• Contribute to the hiring process and provide training to new sales staff, aligning with our store's ethos
• Authorize payments via cheque and manage merchandise returns following established policies
• Personally engage with customers, showcasing merchandise, and fostering positive interactions
• Prepare insightful reports on sales volumes, merchandise displays, and staffing matters
• Assign tasks and create work schedules for sales workers, optimizing coverage for excellent service
• Maintain inventory levels of thrift store items, proactively initiating merchandise orders
• Lead and coordinate sales staff and cashiers, ensuring efficient and customer-friendly operations

Requirements

• Willingness to relocate
• High school diploma; Retail management experience preferred
• Excellent English and Communication skills
• Exceptional supervisory and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Passion for thrift store culture and commitment to sustainable practices
