Job Description
Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team in our Rehabilitation Department.
In accordance with the established vision and values of Northern Health, the Resource Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a client and family centred care model. Provides leadership and applies specialized theory and knowledge relating to designated/specific patient/client/resident populations to promote the delivery of safe, ethical, and quality patient/client/resident and family care. Acts as a clinical resource by providing consultation and clinical support to the interdisciplinary care team, other professionals, and students. Available for direct care as needed in a variety of formats (i.e., complex cases face to face, video, and phone). Promote excellence in patient/client/resident centered care, education, and research. Participates in direct patient/client/resident and family care, when required.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 08:30 to 17:00

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally on a one to one and group setting.
