This professional will be responsible for providing hands-on clinical care to students and staff on the Junior campus and in our boarding program.
Hours of work will be Wednesday and Thursday evenings, 3pm-8pm plus on-call overnight, and two on-call weekends per month. Additional coverage for vacation or illness coverage will be required.
Ideal candidates will hold a current R.N. license in good standing with CRNBC with a minimum 2 years’ experience in nursing. Pediatric, emergency and mental health experience an asset. St. George’s offers competitive compensation and a variety of health & wellness options to all employees.

Qualifications include:
R.N., B.Sc. Nursing;
- Ability to make medical decisions independently;
- Current CPR accreditation;
- Team-player with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated;
- Experience working within an academic environment;
- Experience dealing with “crisis” type medical situations;
- Must have own vehicle;
- Superior EQ skills in self-awareness, self-management, social agility, empathy, impact and influence, mastery of purpose and vision.
- Minimum 2 years hands on experience in clinical care;
- High-energy individual;
Responsibilities include:
- Prepares reports for medical files;
- Provides backup and support as required across both campuses.
- Provides support to staff as needed for medical situations due to illness or injury;
- Provides hands on care and support for all student illness/injuries;
- Assessing student illnesses and/or injuries and providing clinical care as required;
- Helps to ensures all equipment and supplies are available and in inventory;
