We are seeking an additional receptionist to join our team and help maintain the smooth operation of our clinic while exceeding our patients' expectations. The ideal candidate will be cheerful, passionate about helping others and possess excellent communication skills. Reception Duties:
- Ensure all patients arrive on time for their scheduled appointments.
- Opening the clinic with every system ready for providers to see their scheduled patients on time.
- Manage patient schedules, check-ins, and check-outs and inform practitioners about arrivals.
- Handle patient forms: distribution, scanning, and uploading.
- Prepare invoices, schedule follow-up appointments, and handle payments accurately.
- Manage walk-in patients' scheduling needs.
- Reschedule no-show appointments promptly.
- Handling incoming parcels includes verifying and documenting.
- Stay informed about basic clinical procedures and office policies.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; office administration diploma is an asset but not required.
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
Familiarity with a private practice medical office and experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of electronic medical records systems and scheduling software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and task completion abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanour.
Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and patient-centric approach.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging interactions with empathy and composure.
The ability to communicate in French is a great asset.
