General Accountabilities

• Conduct regulatory audits of maintenance activities at all operational locations.
• Responsible for planning and laying out the details of inspection standards and methods used by the Company in complying with Transport Canada regulations.
• Responsible for the custody, control and amending of maintenance publications.
• To monitor the maintenance, inspection, repair, modification and overhaul of helicopters and components operated by Hydro One Networks Inc.
• Maintain the custody and control of records relating to the maintenance history of all helicopters and components.
• Act as an industry liaison as directed by the Supervisor, Helicopter Maintenance.
• Responsible to the Supervisor, Helicopter Maintenance, for the operation and execution of the AMO Quality Assurance function.
• Must be certified to maintain, service and repair all types of helicopter equipment operated by Hydro One Networks Inc.
• To perform the Specific Responsibilities of the Helicopter Maintenance Inspector as outlined in the Hydro One Networks Inc. (Helicopter Services) Maintenance Control Manual, Maintenance Policy Manual and Policies and Procedures Manual.
• On occasion, assume the responsibilities of the Supervisor, Helicopter Maintenance.
• Ensure that all documentation required by Hydro One Networks Inc., Transport Canada, and the manufacturer is prepared correctly upon completion of maintenance related activities.
• In the course of conducting regulatory maintenance oversight, ensure that all necessary replacement parts are installed as per the manufacturer specifications and Transport Canada requirements.
• Periodically review QA /QC processes from major vendors.

Selection Criteria
The successful candidate must-

• Have a minimum 10 years’ experience in the trade since certification, competent in both oral and written communication.
• Possess a valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean Driver's Abstract
• Have strong computer skills.
• Have Transport Canada approved helicopter type-training courses (Airbus AS350 B2/B3) with applicable engine training.
