SENIOR FLEXONICS CANADA (flexonics.com) is part of the Group of companies reporting to Senior Plc. We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Manager – Part Time, based in our Brampton Office representing our operations which manufactures piping system expansion joints, dampers, diverters and flexible hose assemblies for the Petrochemical, Power Generation, Industrial Processing and HVAC markets.
Responsibilities:
- Provide monthly quality reports.
- Supervise the implementation and training requirements for compliance to the Quality Manuals.
- Audit of quality control procedures, testing and inspection of measuring and pressure test equipment calibration.
- Traceability of all documentation and issuance of History Dockets or Letters of Compliance on behalf of Flexonics Limited.
- Direct contact with the customers’ inspectors/agencies in relation to quality requirements on individual orders.
- Measuring and testing equipment verification and documentation.
- Make final recommendation regarding all product conformances to specifications.
- Maintain ISO 9001, ASME and CANPAC Requirements.
- Supplier audits to ensure compliance.
- Final checks of all engineering product drawings to ensure requirements are being met.
Requirements:
· A degree/diploma related to manufacturing.
· 5-7 years of experience in a Quality related position, ideally in a custom metal fabrication industry.
· Well versed with ASME standards.
· Experience in managing a small team.
· 3-5 years’ Experience with audits/managing quality documentation as per ISO standards.
· A self-starter, organized, have good interpersonal skills and time management skills.
· Previous experience in supplying to the Nuclear Industry.
· CANPAC audits experience is a must.
