Localisation : Garderie LaSalle des petits – Montréal, Québec

Status: Permanent, 4 days a week and one day of work at home (32-40 hours/week)

Work schedule: Garderie LaSalle des petits' opening hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with meals and snacks
• Organize, facilitate and evaluate group, sub-group and individual activities to enable each child to develop to his/her full potential
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the premises, materials and equipment
• Collaborate with parents for the well-being of the children
• Ensure the overall harmonious development of the children
• Follow the given themes
• Participate in the monthly team meeting
• Provide support and protection to some children in difficulty
• Collaborate with the Early Childhood Education teachers at Garderie LaSalle des Petits Daycare.
• To apply the educational program to the children

Qualifications

• Fluency in spoken and written English and French, with a third language an asset: Portuguese, Mandarin or Spanish.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with children.
• Flexibility in terms of working hours;
• Interest in working with children.
• A two- to four-year college diploma in early childhood education (A.E.C. or D.E.C.) or a bachelor's degree in child development is required.
