Purchasing / Logistics Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing ,preparing, and routing purchase orders.
- Overseeing all supply chain operations.
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
- Answering customer queries.
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
- Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
- Liaising and negotiating with supplier and retailers.
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
Purchasing/ Logistics Coordinator Requirements:
- Experience with Ocean/Rail/Tucking freight is a must.(2-3years)
- Good management and organizational skills.
- Inventory Management experience
- Dealing with Customs and Custom brokers for shipment clearance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 2+years of experience in logistics management would bean asset.
- Working knowledge of legal regulations in requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Packaging and production experience would be an asset
- Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred.
