Job Description

Purchasing / Logistics Coordinator


Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing ,preparing, and routing purchase orders.
  • Overseeing all supply chain operations.
  • Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
  • Answering customer queries.
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
  • Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
  • Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
  • Liaising and negotiating with supplier and retailers.
  • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.


Purchasing/ Logistics Coordinator Requirements:

  • Experience with Ocean/Rail/Tucking freight is a must.(2-3years)
  • Good management and organizational skills.
  • Inventory Management experience
  • Dealing with Customs and Custom brokers for shipment clearance
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2+years of experience in logistics management would bean asset.
  • Working knowledge of legal regulations in requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Packaging and production experience would be an asset
  • Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred.
