Purchaser / Inventory Coordinator Jobs

We are looking to add to our team! If you have purchasing experience in the aggregate manufacturing industry or you are a Purchaser with extensive knowledge of raw materials including glass cullet and separating agents, etc., then this position may be for you!

Responsibilities

• Sourcing new suppliers of raw materials
• Monitoring raw material inventory and writing orders to refill stock.
• Keep up to date with Lab results of raw material.
• Pricing comparison and securing contracts for Raw materials, packaging materials
• Prepare purchase orders for vendors.
• Ordering raw materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Reviewing market trends to keep up with changing consumer preferences and fashion trends.
• Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules.
• Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
• Verifying invoicing price with agreed pricing on products/services
• Coordinating with production managers to schedule deliveries of raw materials to meet production schedules.
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure fair pricing terms.
• Quickly identify problems and solutions that come up with suppliers.
• Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.
• Learn and identify Raw materials, company specifications.
• Monitoring finished good inventory

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines, handle competing priorities
• Strategic thinking
• Negotiation skills
• Previous purchasing experience
• Considerable experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
