Job Description
The College of Dentistry invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Prosthodontics. The successful candidate will be required to deliver didactic, pre-clinical and clinical teaching; supervise student research projects; initiate, lead, and participate in research activities; compete successfully for external funding to support their research program; and undertake relevant administrative activities and service. work.


Applicants should have a DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent; a Certificate in Prosthodontics and are able to obtain an appropriate dental license(generalist/specialist/academic) in the Province of Saskatchewan. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a PhD degree, a track record of research and/or scholarly accomplishments and prior prosthodontic teaching experience in an academic setting. We are seeking an outstanding individual with excellent leadership skills to contribute to all aspects of our pre-clinical and clinical practice, our educational programs, and the research impact of our College and University.


Salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor: $99,945 to $120,099; Associate Professor: $120,099 to $140,253; and Professor $140,253 to $163,766. Independent of rank, a starting salary above the standard salary bands is possible in rare and exceptional circumstances pursuant to Article 18.2.6.12 of the 2017-2023 USFA Collective Agreement (see: http://careers.usask.ca/agreements/usfa/usfa-18-ranks-and-salaries.php . This position includes a comprehensive benefits package which includes a dental, health and extended vision care plan; pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long-term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefits, an employee assistance program, a professional expense allowance, and a flexible health and wellness spending program.
