ADMN 4876: Management of Small Enterprises

Within the last three years, relevant course and subject-matter experience in teaching and or practice at another accredited university.

Five years working experience supporting SME startup and growth.

MBA, or MA Economics, or MA Economic Development, or Masters of Economics in another directly related area from an accredited university.

This course continues an introduction to spoken and written French at an intermediate level.

Students are prepared to travel, work and live in a francophone environment.

This course relies on textual as well as on audio-visual and electronic support material.

Master’s degree in mathematics or related field with two years of subject matter teaching experience at university level.

This is a problem-solving course in which an extensive treatment of differential calculus and an introduction to integral calculus is given.

The course covers limits, continuity and differentiation of functions including exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions.

Emphasis is placed on practical applications of the derivative such as graph sketching, extrema and related rate problems.

Other topics will include: anti-derivatives; area under curves; indeterminate forms and l’Hopital’s rule.

Proficiency in differential calculus is required

MSc in Biology and will have experience in undergraduate course instruction.

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are required.

Experience teaching in a multicultural environment

Description: This introductory course explores selected topics in biology as applied to prokaryotes and eukaryotes.

Cell biology, genetics, respiration, photosynthesis, and evolution will be discussed.
