Project Manager - Viridian Energy Co-Operative (Viatec)

This role requires a strong understanding of Solar PV Systems and relevant modeling software systems to ensure the safe and complete install of the Viridian system to our clients. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills are an asset as you assist with site analysis, conceptual system design, and performance of our system. In this role, you'll enjoy being a part of our dynamic Project Management team.

Project Manager Duties (include, But Are Not Limited To)

• Present and discuss appropriate options with clients, making recommendations for appropriate equipment, equipment location, and layout
• Confirming, coordinating, and closing out required permits
• Project Installation, including providing support to the site installation crew
• Site analysis and design in the office (virtual) and in the field
• Project set up and final design
• Marketing, including post install follow up with clients

Skills And Qualifications

• Excellent attendance, punctuality, record keeping, and work ethic.
• Project Management credential would be an asset.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong and detailed understanding of Solar PV Systems with 3 to 5 years of solar industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with clients.
• NABCEP certified or has completed a related accredited education or training program.
• Mature, confident, and strong personal initiative.
• Strong knowledge, understanding and implementation of relevant modeling software systems.
• Savvy use of technology.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

WAGE: $65 - 75,000

This position is a primarily remote, work from home position - some travel required for site inspections, meetings, etc, at the warehouse in the Cowichan Valley.
