Our Utilities Client in Newmarket is looking for a Project Manager (AMI).
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $120,000

Role:
As a Project Manager (AMI), you will guide large-scale technology projects with end-to-end services. Projects will vary in size from simple projects with a single deliverable to complex projects with a large team and multiple deliverables. You will be a strong leader, responsible for optimizing high-performing technical teams.

Requirements:
· 5+ years’ experience in a project management role managing large-scale software implementation/integration projects
· Excellent experience managing client and vendor relationships.
· Develop and maintain project plans, project budgets, and financials
· Create and maintain risk and issue logs.
· Manage internal project resources, assign roles, and delegate responsibilities.
· Develop document deliverables, presentations, procurement documents, and consulting reports.
· Manage change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budgets.
· Leadership and problem-solving skills, time management, and organizations skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with risk management and stakeholder management
· MS Project and MS Office
Knowledge:
· IT principles including lifecycle planning, estimating, and architecture
· Project management best practices and standards, procurement lifecycle, and project metrics
· Experience with system integration activities including; business process development, system integration, and software testing
· Experience with implementation of software, enterprise applications, understanding of SDLC
· Excellent Vendor Management skills
· Resource planning and managing resources
· Understanding of large infrastructures and Big data
· Knowledge of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and Utility experience is an asset or Telecom industry background
Certifications:
· Undergraduate degree/diploma
· PMP certification is an asset
