Project Manager Jobs

The overall responsibility of the Project Manager is to oversee the project from start to finish. The role manages multiple projects and ensures all assigned projects meet quality, timeline, and cost objectives.

• Work to achieve standards of excellence and demonstrate flexible and efficient time management, with a strong ability to prioritize workload and present positive solutions, while taking action to meet and exceed client expectations
• Monitor project performance which includes safety decisions, engineering, contract management, construction activities, schedule, risk assessment and cost controls
• Develop and maintain all project schedules, identifying critical activities to project completion, monitor schedule performance, update, and take corrective action as required
• Monitor and inspect activities of supply and construction to confirm the project works are in conformance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Ensure collection of documentation including contract submittals, QAQC records, as-built documents, as well as issuance of inspections completion certificates.
• Meet with client to understand needs to accurately put together an estimate.
• Strategize a project execution plan that addresses all aspects of a project from design, procurement, fabrication, through to construction and project closeout
• Contract management involving review and approval of sub-contractor documents, evaluation of contract changes, invoice approvals and discrepancies to support achieving project goals including quality, schedule, and cost
• Submit all change orders to office for client approval

Qualifications:

• Full understanding of conceptual design, through to detailed design
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of contract management, custom projects, small projects, and construction including but not limited to project management, finance, sub-contractor, owners, engineers and client relations, SOP’s, technology, equipment, materials, negotiation, engineering, estimating, scheduling, contracting, change management and safety
• Valid Drivers Licence
• Demonstrated experience as a strategic thinker, knowledge of problem-solving techniques with high degree of analytical skills to provide solution driven results
• Excellent relationship management skills to create and maintain successful internal and external relationships with the ability to deal with opposing opinions and capable of leading discussions and decisions towards the best outcome
