Core Purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering Warehouse Distribution projects in GTA, Ontario, Canada. The projects include setup of new Distribution Centers (greenfield & brownfield), implementing large scale automation solutions, transitioning existing client operations & implementing new client operations. This Project Manager will report to Director of Engineering at DSV Solutions Canada.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations to develop and implement training programs, KPIs, SOPs, UAT, process handovers etc.
• Demonstrates project control through disciplined measurement, assessment, planning, and reporting.
• Follow implementation strategies & schedule using DSV’s standard processes.
• Manage both internal and external team members to ensure necessary upfit and procurement
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Lead projects from requirements definition through creating scope of work, planning & tracking schedules.
• Build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with team and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with WMS & IT engineers to manage IT scope, facilitate detailed design validations, create testing plan testing, IT scope, budget & change management
• Work with internal team and clients to develop and manage inventory transition planning & building/ work area readiness for testing & operational Go-live
• Establishes trusted relationships with the project team, key influencers/stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Anticipates and communicates the impact of project decisions and actions on client commitments / expectations.
• Collaborate with Engineering team to define project requirements (scope) and facilitate detail design validations.
• Managing project budgets while continuously assessing risk mitigation strategies
