Project Engineer (Only Canada Citizens)

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for end-to-end delivery of engineered solutions to end customers.
2. Participate in technical discussions with end customer to understand requirements, constraints and implied requirements.
3. Interact and coordinate with Process Engineering team to develop and refine Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and finalize equipment layout with sign off from all relevant stakeholders.
4. Coordinate with engineering teams for equipment design, piping and skid design meeting end customer requirement.
5. Participate in technical discussions with vendors for fabrication of outsourced components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements and schedule.
6. Coordination with manufacturing team and shop floor personnel for fabrication of in-house manufactured components.
7. Regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to track and report project status, progress and planned vs. actual schedule, cost etc.
8. Adherence to industry and customer specific quality standards and processes.

1. Required SkillsGood knowledge and understanding ofASME and APIcodes and standards.
2. Ability to read and understandPFDs, P&IDs,manufacturing drawings, bill of materials etc. to ensure effective communication with other teams.
3. Proven experience and domain knowledge in the oil & gas, chemicals or similar process industries.
4. Good knowledge and experience with material selection for different applications.
5. Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Should be able to effectively communicate technical information to stakeholders with different levels and areas of expertise.
6. Experience of project management process and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
