Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Project Controls Analyst in the energy sector in Edmonton, Alberta.

Our wonderful client is looking for a Senior Project Controls analyst to join their team in Edmonton. This is a full time, 1 year project based contract role with possibility for extension. The Senior Project Controls Analyst will be a part of the Project Controls team for a billion dollar project. They will focus on providing Quantity Surveying, cost control and forecasting and reporting among other responsibilities.

Duties:

• Build long term financial and budgeting plans for the project
• Work closely with Project Controls Manager about control budget and potential deviations
• Assist with preparing work orders and estimating cost
• Be a part of all the phases of the project from project set up to performance analysis and completion
• Carry out cost variance and root cause analysis including the use of contractor data

Successful candidates will have:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project controls in the oil and gas industry
• SAP experience
• Experience in quantity surveying
• Advanced Excel skills
