We have an immediate opening for a Process Assurance Specialist within our Core Airworthiness and Process Assurance Department.

This position will require the candidate to be knowledgeable in Development Assurance Processes as set out in ARP4754A “Guidelines for Development of Civil Aircraft and Systems”. As well as, be able to conduct Aircraft and System Process Audits for different Life Cycle Phases of Development and Sustaining. A clear understanding of Requirement Validation and Verification activities are required.

Location of candidate is flexible; either the Toronto or Montreal site.

In your role, you will:

• Support internal Work Packages and Suppliers demonstrate compliance to Systems Development processes.
• Participate in System Design Reviews internally and with suppliers.
• Support the continued implementation and execution of internal processes for compliance to ARP4754A.
• Interact across engineering disciplines and functions.
• Support updates to our internal Bombardier Engineering Processes with lessons learnt.
• Support aircraft and systems certification activities.
• Lead Process Assurance Audit engineering-guided activities at the Aircraft and System Levels, including internal and supplier audits for compliance against Development Assurance Process Plans.
• Support internal Work Packages with Requirements Management Capture Process, Validation and Verification activities at the Aircraft and System Levels.

• You have demonstrated the ability to be resourceful and lead projects.
• You are knowledgeable and have practical experience with SAE ARP4754A Standards.
• You have a minimum of 5 years working experience in System Development specific to the Aerospace Industry.
• You have demonstrated the ability to work in cross functional environments.
• You have a Bachelor or Master University Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• You have strong communication skills (both written and spoken)
• You have experience working with Requirements Management Tools (i.e. Team Center, Doors or equivalent)
• You are familiar with Certification Requirements (FAR25/AWM525) ARP 4761 and DO-178/254/297 Standards.
