As an Engineering Co-op, working at our Mondelez Manufacturing facility in Hamilton, you will support the plant, as an engineering member, developing projects end-to-end.


  • Defining scope of the project in the various stages of a project life, including approval of the funds (AR – Appropriation request)
  • Participate in the Corporate Mondelēz and plant trainings
  • Execute project, after approval, including critical activities as Factory Acceptance Tests, installation, and commissioning
  • Participate in the team activities, such as the weekly meetings, IL6S meetings and activities
  • Perform the associated finance activities of projects, such as cost control, purchase orders, asset capitalization and project closure.
  • Performing project evaluations, including technical feasibility, and finance assessments (project pay back)
  • Coordinate all project activities with the project teams, including manufacturing, quality, finance and HSE project members

Qualifications:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Pro-active and dynamic attitude focused on delivering results
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Previous manufacturing experience and Knowledge of AutoCad and MS Project will be considered an asset
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision while taking direction from experienced colleagues.
  • Currently enrolled in a university level undergraduate degree program in Engineering
