Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Leader will be responsible for ensuring the products are in compliance with customer and company standards and production goals and targets are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of the workforce
- Other duties, as required
- Assist with off loading and transferring parts
- Ensures compliance of production schedules
- Perform and document in-process quality inspections/quality checks
- Collaborates with other departments to maintain the ISO quality systems
- Supervises daily operations of the Production staff as an active contributor/leader
- Responsibility for the production shift, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Identify problem areas, recommend, coordinate, and implement solutions
- Operate high tech machinery and assist machine operators
Qualifications:
- Strong team building and team leadership with experience in a leader position
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Understanding and experience with ISO based quality systems
- Experience of the metal stamping operation preferred
- 1 year + experience as a Production Leader in an automotive manufacturing environment and/or equivalent work experience/internal training/testing
