Job Description
Are you seeking full time work in manufacturing or production? Do you enjoy working with your hands in a fast paced environment? Apply today for this contract to hire role in the Transcona area.
The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools and production/manufacturing. Must have a strong track record of attendance and reliability. This is a non-union environment with room for growth. The role will start as a term contract and a permanent role will be offered after approximately 3 months based on performance and attendance. The chosen candidate must be flexible to work days or evenings.

Responsibilities
  • Working in production/manufacturing to make plastic products
  • Lifting between 25-50lbs
  • Using a filament winder to make fiberglass sleeves
  • Assembly using hand tools
  • Rolling fiberglass
Qualifications
  • Cannot be scent sensitive - strong odors in the plant due to the fiberglass
  • Must be physically capable of prolonged standing and lifting up to 50lbs
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environment required
  • Steel toed shoes required
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Must have strong track record of attendance and reliability
