Hays is proud to partner with an international logistics client who is looking to recruit for the position of Pricing Analyst for their Airfreight Division. As they continue to expand and develop their business across North America, they are always looking for talented, adaptable, energetic and passionate individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Your new role
As Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the air import department to ensure a quick, courteous and efficient customer experience while maintaining a competitive cost structure for both the company and their clients. Produce rates for the air freight department within the required deadlines and to the satisfaction of clients and the company. Act as a liaison between the clients, agents and sales executives
- Work closely with the sales team, and the other departments of SDV Canada.
- Understand customer needs and bring innovative solutions.
- Produce rates in the operational system according to the needs of the clients and within the time limits.
- Issue non-conformity notices and customer complaints in accordance with ISO procedures.
- Act as the resource person for the company network, suppliers and customer service department (both internal and external).
- Follow up on rates.
- Verify different transport possibilities with airline and transport companies and negotiate best possible rates for clients.
What you will need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of logistics experience, possess excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals, an entrepreneurial mindset, possess excellent problem-solving skills, are proactive, comfortable with MS office suite and are bilingual.
