Summary:

In collaboration with Maintenance Supervisor, the Preventive Maintenance Planner will support maintenance department with regard to preventative maintenance work planning and preparation as well as with parts inventory management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Create procedural manuals that explain how to do certain tasks.
• Determine correct maintenance and maintenance frequency in collaboration with the Maintenance manager and equipment suppliers.
• Prepare and schedule all occurring preventive maintenance work.
• Check all incoming ordered goods.
• Other related duties and assigned.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures and programs of the company (GMP, Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety etc) at all times.
• Keep track of the correct inventory based on maintenance frequency.
• Substitute for Maintenance Manager or Supervisor when needed.
• In cooperation with Maintenance Supervisor, prepare and schedule all occurring mid and long term corrective maintenance work.
• Implement and supervise 5S within Production and Maintenance departments and other departments in collaboration with the Production and Sanitation managers.
• Create maintenance schedules and generate work orders.
• Prepare preventive maintenance plans that are aligned with the organization’s maintenance goals.
• Responsible for keeping all common resources, such as tools, workshop machines, etc., made available by Cerelia in the proper condition.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors.
• Adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work assistance and support maintenance manager.
• Estimate costs of labor and parts for industrial equipment
• Provide clear and timely feedback on all activities using the CMMS system.
• Order and prepare necessary materials and/or parts for all occurring activities.
• At all times comply with and supervise all applicable rules regarding hygiene, safety of people and machines, house rules of Cerelia and general order and cleanliness for our own maintenance crew as well as potential supplier technicians. Report all deviations accurately and in a time manner.
• Serve as a liaison between maintenance and operations.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Take responsibility for inventory management of parts and surplus equipment.
• Maintain records and files essential to maintenance management.
• Collaborate with the Supervisors about the status of equipment and unplanned downtime with regard to preventive maintenance.

Entrance Qualifications

• Communication and Analytical Skills:
• Must be experienced in overseeing ongoing initiatives
• Minimum of 5+ years of similar experience working preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial spirited, fast-paced and changing workplace environment with a desire to make a strong impact on the business.
• Experience in collaborating with the leadership team within and outside of the department
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify issues, trends and drive solutions to improve H&S.
• Must have a strong passion and desire for the wellbeing and safety of employees
• Strong verbal/ written communication and leadership skills with the ability to positively influence members of the team.
