Job Description
Are you interested in joining one of the world's foremost specialty aerospace and defence contractors? Adecco is currently seeking an experienced CMT Technician - Mechanic (AVN), for a full-time, permanent position at a leading Canadian specialty aerospace and defence company in Abbotsford, BC. In this role, you will perform aircraft maintenance, repairs and overhaul applicable to your trade on the Canadian Forces CC130J aircraft and complete the associated documentation in accordance with Canadian Forces and industry standards as well the company's policies and procedures.


This position will require immediate Controlled Goods security clearance, therefore only Canadian Citizens and or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.


  • Ensure the return of the customer aircraft in safe and serviceable condition by performing all work tasks in accordance with applicable manuals
  • Ensure all paperwork, documentation and reporting associated with a repair is completed accurately and in accordance with Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards (CPS), all maintenance, manufacturing and policy manuals

  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCCA or applicable governing body) OR Military course(s) equivalent
  • Ensure all repairs/modifications and inspection tasks are performed in accordance with the customer's check package, Transport Canada Regulations (CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Process Standards (CPS), all maintenance, manufacturing and policy manuals, and scope of their certification authority
  • CC130 B-H & J Aircraft DND / Military experience is an asset
  • Strive to consistently act in a manner that reflects the company's culture and values
  • Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure work tasks are performed efficiently and accurately, and appropriate skills to progress in the trade are developed
  • Perform other duties as required Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Location: Abbotsford, BC
  • Participate in company-wide social events and family functions throughout the year.
  • Currently hold or capable of getting Controlled Goods Program Clearance and Secret Security Clearance.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Access endorsement training and development opportunities provided by an approved training organization (ATO).
  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent Advantages:
