Preventive Medicine Physician Jobs

MDSearch isseeking a passionate and dedicated Preventive Medicine Physician to joina multidisciplinary healthcare clinic focused on precision preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, hormone optimization, and evidence-based medical anti-aging therapies.

Physician will lead a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals, including exercise physiologists, nutritionists, lifestyle coaches, physician assistants (IMGs), clinical assistants, and laboratory and diagnostic imaging technicians. In this role, you will manage a reasonable patient load and serve as a team leader, inspiring both patients and colleagues to achieve their health goals.

Clients are highly educated individuals with a strong health literacy level. They primarily consist of business owners, executives, professionals, and their spouses. It's important to note that we do not provide services to children or geriatric patients with complex medical problems or cognitive impairment, as these cases fall outside the scope of primary and secondary prevention.

Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to visit the clinic in Etobicoke for a tour and group interview. Successful candidates will be invited to spend one full day in the clinic, shadowing the medical director and the healthcare team, observing and participating in clinical care. This day will provide an opportunity to evaluate if our practice aligns with your professional goals and suitability.

Final applicants will be offered competitive remuneration as contract physicians. Initially, part-time contract services are designed to facilitate a gradual practice transition, leading to a full-time contract depending on performance and suitability.

• Candidates must be registered with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

• Funding may be available for your Continuing Medical Education (CME). The CME program consists of four 3-day modules (Friday to Sunday) and includes a written examination to obtain certification in BHRT (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy). These modules also qualify for Mainpro credits, which can contribute towards your CME requirements with the CFPC or other licensing college, if applicable.
• Compensation is based on pre-set work activities, with potential earnings of $200-$250 per hour and an annual take-home of $300,000-$400,000 for full-time physicians
• Gradual practice transition leading to full-time contract depending on performance and suitability.
• Clinical training and mentoring will be provided to qualified applicants. Satisfactory completion of additional postgraduate training and certification is expected within the first year of your appointment.
