Position Overview

Planning and Portfolio Manager
Your Impact
- Create central planning-based tools, processes and methodologies as needed
- Lead timelines and results and design/implement executive and org-wide reporting snapshots (i.e. QBRs, monthly reporting)
- Work with leadership and Centers of Expertise (COE) to define PPL priorities, including level of priority and clear strategy definition, case preparation and presentation for sign off
- Create, own and maintain the Go-To-Market lifecycle to enable all functions of the Go-To-Market team to show up successfully
- Ensure the strategic and functional planning and timing of PPL’s top priorities and launches are in concert with business objectives
- Prioritize issues and decisions for executive engagement, including facilitating and leading ongoing PPL steering committee meetings (i.e. agenda development, meeting facilitation, follow-through and communications)
- Create, own, and maintain PPL Priorities “Plan of Record” and streamline flow of information across PPL (i.e. tool stack management, roadmaps, priority scorecard, communications and reporting for leadership and PPL)
- Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of PPL planning / priority roadmap
- Facilitate and drive communications across teams during the planning process
- Identify planning inefficiencies and propose solutions to enable a more seamless strategic and functional planning process
- Lead cross-functional resources in both the planning process and the reporting process across PPL to organize, drive and land a PPL go-to-market approach to annual planning activities
- Measure success for the planning and portfolio program overall and it’s sub-component(s)
- Responsible for coordinating the flow of information, time and resource management, and ensuring decision-making processes are effective across PPL Priority steering committee, leadership teams and across all PPL Priorities
- Experience and success with implementing systems to hold stakeholders accountable
- Experience in HR
- Adaptability and flexibility
- 8+ years of experience in a combination of program, project, planning and portfolio management roles
- Depth of knowledge governing strategic processes
- Experience with building out centralized systems within and across teams
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance to create structures and develop operational concepts
- Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long-term goals
- Expertise in portfolio management with the ability to understand and articulate both the 30,000-foot business strategy of a portfolio and the granular details of buildout
- Experience working with cross-functional leadership teams and influencing without authority
- Capable of making business recommendations and action plans based on data analysis
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong cross-functional leadership and analytical skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- PMP certification
