We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Physiotherapy department.

Reporting to the Manager of Rehab Services, the incumbent is responsible for providing rehabilitation medicine treatments to clients of the facility. The incumbent will also provide in-service education and training to staff, and may be required to provide services to other facilities throughout the Northeast. A staff physiotherapist's job involves assessment, treatment, education and management of patients requiring Physiotherapy. It involves participation in treatment, quality assessment and ongoing continuing education.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Tuesday, Thursday, 09:00 to 15:00

New Wage: As of April 1, 2023, the new wage is: $40.84 - $50.80/hour

Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre is a 46-bed hospital with 115 residential care beds in the adjoining Peace Villa Care Home. They have two state of the art operating rooms, ambulatory clinics including cancer care and hemodialysis, emergency and ICU, a birthing centre with single maternity rooms for labour, delivery and post-partum.

Fort St. John is located above the Peace River Valley, and has a diverse population of 21,000 (2021) and serves an area of approximately 69,000. Qualfications

• Current license with the College of Physical Therapists of BC.
• Preference will be give to therapists who belong to CPA/PABC.
• A graduate of an accredited Canadian Physiotherapy Program or, if educated outside Canada, has met the criteria for registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
