The Randstad Healthcare team is currently supporting one of our non-retail pharmacy clients with a facility located in Markham in their search for an Program Lead to take a leadership role in their facility and oversee patient service in relation to specific set of medication programs. In this role you will be responsible for managing the patient contact, prescription processing, and medication delivery relating to these programs in addition to serving as the primary point of contact for partner clinics and other medication delivery sites to troubleshoot issues and manage service. This lead will be responsible for ensuring that team members are working effectively towards effective patient services and delivery of prescriptions while problem-solving and maintaining oversight of deliverables to ensure that deadlines are met & excellent patient service is maintained. Advantages
This permanent career opportunity is full-time (40-hour schedule + potential for overtime at the employee's discretion), with hours taking place in eight hour shifts between 7 AM - 7 PM each day from Monday to Friday and a rotation of a shortened shift on Sunday once per month.

Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Team Lead you will be responsible for the management of workflow relating to a set of medication programs and be a central point of contact for all of the departments within the pharmacy working on delivery, including data entry/patient support teams, dispensing operations and logistics related to delivery. In order to ensure that delivery deadlines are met you will be expected to participate in the support of each of these areas as required, with primary focus being on the management of patient contact & issues related to reimbursement & adjudication. You will also serve as the point of contact for external parties enrolled in these programs and liaise with internal pharmacy leaders to ensure clarity and accuracy of communication around delivery timelines and adjustments to orders.
Qualifications
  • Positive outlook with a strong work ethic required
  • Candidates must have experience in speaking with patients and performing data entry & reimbursement management
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts during weekdays with full availability Mondays through Fridays as well as Sundays on rotation (approx. once per month)
  • Deadline-oriented and strong prioritization skills a must
  • Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills are required
  • The ideal candidate possesses at least 1 year of continuous leadership experience (i.e. Team lead, supervisor) in a high volume pharmacy setting (any high volume setting is fine including long term care, central fill, etc.) or has a demonstrated adaptability through experience in supporting multiple different types of pharmacy delivery
