Job Description
Do you have an accounting background? Looking for an administrative role where you can use your previous office experience to support the team?
Our client in the insurance industry is looking for individuals to join their team as an Office Administrator.
This position is a work-from-home role and 10-month contract starting ASAP.

  • Hours : 35 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • 12 month assignment

Responsibilities
As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for:
  • Invoicing brokers & electronic filing of documents
  • Assisting with other similar administrative duties and reporting as required by management
  • Sorting and forwarding the mail
  • Completion of carrier and claims on a monthly basis
  • Reconciliation of premium payments
  • Paying expenses through our internal payment management system
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of office/administration experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Ability to navigate between multiple computer applications at the same time.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements
  • Attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Nice to Have:
  • Post-Secondary degree/diploma is an asset
  • Insurance background is an asset
  • Accounting background an asset
