Job Description

Order Desk/Customer Service Representative in Distribution Company

Permanent Placement, Full time, North York

Our client, a well-established distribution company, located in the North York area, is looking for a full-time Order Desk to join their team.


Job duties:

  • Receiving orders from business customers (Sales Rep from Different countries), via phone, email, and fax
  • Processingand entering orders into the computer software using QuickBooks
  • Processing shipping labels, packing slips, and invoices
  • Handling a large volume of orders and paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Answering incoming calls

Ideal Candidate for the Customer Service Representative/ Order Desk role will have the following attributes:

  • Good communication and computer skills
  • 2+ years of Canadian customer service or office administration or order desk experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is aMUST
  • Experience working in the manufacturing business
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently, day to day problem solving
  • Excellent math skills
