We are one of Western Canada's most aggressive and vertically integrated group of Companies, currently recruiting for an Operations Manager opportunity at our Sherwood Park Head Office.
Our group is compromised of building supply yards, steel roofing & siding manufacturing and engineered steel building manufacturing. We are a dynamic group of companies with exponential growth and change potential.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Background in Logistics - this will include investigating the purchasing of equipment
- Coordinating, tracking and ensuring proper equipment in each plant and retail location
- Verify Metal coil allocations to all plants for manufacturing
- Researching and assisting growth opportunities with manufacturing and retail location space
- Provide support to the sales team
- Maintain contact with clients by following up on orders, providing samples etc.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained within the warehouse
- Oversee production processes in line with company objectives (e.g. reducing costs, increasing efficiency)
- Researching both metal manufacturing equipment and metal roofing and siding equipment
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
- Oversee dealer and contractor pricing, as well as account set up
- Oversee estimating department
- Conduct plant inspections and provide constructive feedback to General Manager
- Standard operating procedures - provide input and ensure execution of SOP's
- Create long-term plans and initiatives to accomplish company goals efficiently
- Coordinating with other teams to implement strategies and cross-training efforts
- Analyzing budgets to minimize expenses without sacrificing profits
- Developing and implementing strategies to keep employees motivated and dedicated
- Identifying problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly
- Monitoring changing market conditions and adjusting strategies accordingly

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
- $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
