On-Call Security Guards - Kelowna

Securiguard is currently hiring for on-call Security Guards for work in Kelowna! The ideal candidate must have 24/7 availability and an active security license.

Job Requirements

• Keen eye for observing exterior and interior premises
• Comfortable with radio communication
• Pride in delivering outstanding customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to provide access control
• A valid BC Security License
• Able to write reports on job-related activities
• Ability to handle a situation with a listening mindset

Do not have the Security Worker's License?

• BST (Basic Security training)-In order to work as a security Guard in BC, you are required to have a valid BC security License. This involves completion of a 40-hour Basic Security Training (BST) course. Upon completion of BST, a certificate of completion will be issued by the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC). For top quality and passionate candidates, we would be willing to cover the cost of the Basic Security Training course. We are only looking to sponsor the best and most eager candidate!
• 90-day license program- Can work as a security guard at events with a temporary 90-day license, with simple procedure of criminal background check. Having 90 days license can help towards acquiring permanent security license. *Conditions apply- Candidate can work under supervision with 90 days temporary security worker's license and you can get the 90 days temporary workers license once in your life time*
