The Vancouver Board of Education (VSB) welcomes applications for the position of:

On-Call Elementary Teachers

Only candidates who are fully qualified to teach primary or intermediate grades will be considered

The Board's general requirement is that TTOC's be available for call-out on 50% of the instructional days in any month.

Qualifications

• Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Certification Branch (TCB)
• Completion of a Bachelor of Education
• Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS)
• Recent contract teaching experience and/or student teaching experience is required

• At least 3 Professional References -email and phone numbers
• Reports/Evaluations ( lesson observations/mid-term reports not accepted ):
• Resume ( Teaching and Non-Teaching Work Experience )
• Recent Graduates-include Final Practicum Reports
• Experienced Teachers-include Teaching Evaluation within the past 8 years
• Academic Transcripts
• Experienced Teachers to include current Principal, Vice Principal and previous Administrator(s)
• Cover Letter
