Job Description

We are looking for an office administrator/bookkeeper for our office in Freelton (Hamilton) - a hardworking individual that can work independently and productively in a lean office environment. Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of international shipping & CAD or Solidworks an asset.

Administrative

·Answer Phones; Transfer Calls; Take Messages

·Filing

·Create Purchase Orders & Order Materials

·Keep Spreadsheet of Credit Card Expenditures

·Create Job Files & Keep Up To Date

·Email with Customers & Vendors as Needed

·Assist with Organizing Employee Travel

·Keep Insurance Files Up to Date

·Assist Owner with Anything He Needs

·Go To Bank for Deposits, Wire Transfers, Etc.

·Monitor Bank Accounts & Credit Cards

·General Office Duties

Bookkeeping

·A/P – enter all bills; pay bills

·A/R – create all invoices & send out; follow up with customers

·Costing reports for all jobs

·CRA Remittances – HST, Payroll Tax and Corporate Tax

·WSIB Remittances

·Bi-weekly Payroll; Send out Pay Stubs

·Monthly Bank Account & Credit Card Reconciliations

·Assist Accountant with Year End Reports

·Weekly Reports to Owner
