MEDICAL ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST WANTED

******Looking for someone to start PART-TIME beginning September 1, 2023 (date flexible), moving to FULL-TIME beginning December 1, 2023, for 18 additional months to cover a maternity leave (21 months total). Also the possibility of a permanent position.******

Compensation will be based on previous experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our close knit healthcare team. We are a fun, efficient, drama free but busy clinic, with two allergy specialists.

Your primary job duties will include greeting and checking in patients, answering questions, processing paperwork, and scheduling appointments. You will also help keep our records organized, as well as ensure our office provides a welcoming environment for our patients. Opportunity for growth and to learn allergy testing, and lung function testing depending on your interests and strengths.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 2+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant, medical assistant, lab tech, or in a relevant healthcare role

- Familiar with medical terminology and experience in the healthcare field is a plus

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- The ability to get along well with others

- Ability to speak French or other languages is an asset
