Mechanical Engineer Jobs

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support and technical services to our growing company. This includes new designs and product support, liaising with clients and vendors, and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the needs of daily operations
• Maintaining technical records and analysis to support designs and projects
• Design new downhole tool concepts to fit the needs of operations from start to finish including drafting, prototyping and testing, commercialization and product launch, sustaining and improvements
• Existing product improvements and upgrades
• Review of new components, materials, and technologies for product development
• Participate and lead in NCR (non-conformance reports) and failure analysis processes, to promote continuous product improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technologist Diploma, eligible or registered with APEGA or ASET
• 4+ years of experience, preferably in downhole oil and gas applications
• Adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Experience with Solidworks
• Strong and concise communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently while multi-tasking
