Mechanical Engineer Jobs

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a 1-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance with RFQ documents and Client / Project requirements
• Develop Engineering Work Packages
• Ensure design conformance with specifications
• Direct activities to ensure that fabrication, installation, and operational commissioning
• Packages
• Review vendor designs, submissions, drawings, and mechanical details / calculations for
• Training / mentoring of other Mechanical Engineers
• Co-ordinate all Mechanical engineering activities of a project
• Prepare technical data sheet, specifications and tender packages for Mechanical
• Involvement in review and organizational meetings as required
• Coordinate and cooperate with the engineers of other disciplines
• Appropriate equipment to achieve the project design objectives
• Evaluate the desired goal of a system and assist in the design or selection of the
• Make site visits to assist with data collection
• Equipment systems, technical selection, calculation, sizing, and evaluation of equipment
• Meet recognized codes and standards and customer requirements
• Authenticate deliverables as per client and technical jurisdiction requirements

Qualifications:

• Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field
• 5+ years of experience working in engineering
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and
• Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Smart Plant or similar
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
• Solve problems

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
