Job Title - Mechanical & Control Engineer (Commissioning)

Location- Richmond Hill, ON

Position- Full Time Permanent

Preferred: (P.Eng)/ LEED AP / Building Commissioning Professional Certificate from BCxA or AEE or ASHARE

Willing to travel out of GTA and potential stay for few days in remote projects.

Flexible to work overtime and weekends as the business requires.

Client is one of the leaders of Commissioning Services and HVAC System Optimization in large Institutional and Commercial Facilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in using Microsoft Office, AutoCad, AdobePro
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Working in collaboration with Project Managers, Senior Engineers and clients to achieve project goals.
• Expert knowledge in using energy modelling software RETScreen and EQuest
• The focus of this role is to contribute to Commissioning and Re-Commissioning Services in institutional and mega commercial buildings.
• Expertise in using E20-II Software and HVAC Load Calculation
• Provide strategic solutions and identify feasible Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for HVAC and lighting systems.
• The person will be responsible and leading the commissioning and re- commissioning of building systems including- HVAC System, Building Automation System, Lighting System, Fire Alarm System, Emergency Lighting System and Fire Protection System and CCTV Security System and Access Control System.
• Prepare and review the reports and be able to convene the commissioning meetings, taking notes and issuing the minutes.
• Capable of leading end to end commissioning process in new construction projects from design phase through construction, occupancy, and post occupancy phases.
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of HVAC fundamentals, related systems, equipment, and controls.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and guidelines related to Building Commissioning
